EXPATS IN THE USA

Between 2010 and 2017 we lived as expats in Houston. We absolutely LOVED the Texan experience, and enjoyed traveling extensively around the US. As a new expat with a young family, life was initially pretty challenging. Even mundane things like grocery shopping proved a struggle! So, when my twins were old enough to start preschool, I set about ticking off one of my bucket list items ... publish a book! I had been blogging about crafts, parenting, and the expat scene for a while, but this was my first attempt at 'real' writing. I wrote about my experiences as a new expat in the hope of easing someone else's future transition.

12 Days of Christmas

For me, the 12 days of Christmas began yesterday. Twelve days of counting down until I leave India. I literally can't wait and I am yearning for it with every fibre of my being.
